Doctor in Art History from the Department of Art History from the Universitat de Barcelona. Adjunct Processor in the Department of Art History at the Universitat de Barcelona since 2013 where she was previously a Lecturer (2008-2012), a collaborating professor (2006-2007), and an associate professor (2000-2005). Since 2009, she has been a professor at the Escola Superior d’Audiovisuals de Catalunya.

She holds a master’s degree in Museology and Heritage Management from the Universitat de Barcelona, and she held the position of academic secretary for the Official Master of Heritage Management (2006-2009). She complimented teaching with the coordination of temporary expositions. Stand outs among the expositions she has curated were Estances privades. Mobiliari i arts decoratives a Sabadell. 1830-1870 (Museu d’Art de Sabadell, 2000) and Alguns mobles singulars (Fundació Privada Mascort, 2010).

Her research is focused on the evolution of the home, the history of furniture and daily life in the 17th century in Catalonia. Her doctoral thesis, Cases grans. Interiors nobles a Barcelona (1739-1761), considered the ways of life of the nobility of Barcelona of that period. From this research came a series of articles including “Fragments d’ornato i atrezzo. Mobles i estances en la primera meitat del set-cents barceloní,” “Escenografías del habitar: Casa y cuerpo en la primera mitad del siglo XVIII en Barcelona,” “L’ofici de fuster en la Barcelona del set-cents. Noves aportacions documentals, noves mirades,” Foreign markets and the influence of commercial corridors in home arrangement, and, above all, the book Noblesa obliga. L’art de la casa a Barcelona. 1730-1760 (Presse Universitaires de Perpignan-Universitat de Girona, 2013). She was a member of the organizing committee of the “Jornades Internacionales Espais interiors. Casa i art” (Barcelona, 2006) and of the 17th National Art History Congress (Barcelona, 2008).

She has participated in various research groups: De les arts decoratives a la cultura del disseny. El foment de les arts decoratives de Barcelona (2003-2006), El sistema Diseño Barcelona: visualització i genealogia històrica (2006-2009), Els espais de l’oci a la Barcelona de 1900. Un projecte e-reserarch a l’entorn dels orígens de la indústria cultural (2008-2011), and ACAF/ART 2 and 3.
